Job summary

A nationwide utilities contractor is seeking an experienced project leader to manage electrical projects across the U.S. This role involves overseeing all phases of project delivery, ensuring compliance with federal standards, and leading a team towards success. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in electrical construction management, expertise in federal contracts, and a relevant degree. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading teams and managing electrical construction projects.
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects within commercial and federal construction sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal contracting processes, documentation standards, and compliance protocols.
  • Active security clearance or ability to obtain one preferred.
  • O1 Electrical license preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all phases of electrical project delivery, including planning, budgeting, scheduling and implementation.
  • Lead field personnel, subcontractors, and internal project teams with a people-focused management approach.
  • Uphold adherence to federal contract requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Develop, review, and process project documentation such as submittals, RFPs, and change orders.
  • Liaise with clients, general contractors, engineers, and government officials to ensure project alignment.
  • Monitor budgets, forecast labor and material needs, and evaluate overall project performance.
  • Foster a strong culture centered on safety, accountability, and continuous development.
