GPAC is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a local electrical contractor in the Kansas City area. You will oversee commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects from start to finish.

You will develop schedules and budgets, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, review drawings and contracts, and lead field teams to ensure safety and quality standards while maintaining profitability. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of electrical project management experience with an electrical contractor.
  • Proven track record managing commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and project scheduling.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Stable work history.
  • Proficiency with project management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor job progress and provide leadership to field personnel.
  • Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges to maintain efficiency and profitability.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
