Job summary

E-J Group seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead large specialty projects in the Philadelphia area. You will plan, execute, and close projects on time and within budget, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in project management, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills, and hands-on knowledge of construction processes. Procore/Emque/Riskcast experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project manager experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software such as Procore, Emque, Riskcast, Toric.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in electrical contracting/engineering.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Practical knowledge of construction processes and cost management.
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion.
• Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, informing them of status, risks, and milestones.
• Liaise with field supervision and attend/run project meetings.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, change orders, and closeout documents.
• Handle estimating, budgeting, and cost-saving measures.
• Procure and coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
