Job summary

GPAC, a national executive search firm, is partnering with a local electrical contractor in Morgan Hill, CA to hire an Electrical Project Manager.

You will manage commercial, industrial, and institutional projects, develop schedules and budgets, and coordinate with clients, subs, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of electrical PM experience, reads blueprints and contracts, manages budgets, and leads teams. Salary is competitive and includes bonus potential; benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical project management experience with an electrical contractor.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and project scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance.
• Monitor job progress and provide leadership to field personnel.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve project challenges to maintain efficiency and profitability.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
