Duties:
- Responsible for coordinating the internal areas of the Electrical Engineering Department for the development of the projects.
- Update information of assigned projects in the PME indicator.
- Fill out and continually update formats from PME process.
- Make progress reports according to PME process.
- Carry out and update personnel plan, power source plan, and the documentation on the server according to PME process.
- Release the delivery protocol to the Clients.
- Train/introduce new members (internal or external) in the area of electrical projects (PME).
- Escalate problems.
- Support purchasing of materials for assigned electrical projects.
- Elaboration of Purchase Order Requests for assigned electrical projects.
- Elaboration of Electrical concepts.
- Pre-authorization of requests for materials and services submitted by the Electrical Engineering Area.
- Pre-Authorization signature of orders made for purchases according to the request made by the internal areas of the Electrical Engineering Department.
- Elaboration of RFQ and contracting of suppliers for the different areas of the electrical department, according to the needs of assigned project.
- Checking on project delivery and satisfaction from Electrical Engineering Department to client.
- Pre-Authorization signature of invoices according to progress of service providers or delivery of materials.
- Manage each of the assigned projects to be developed in the area of electrical engineering to obtain the desired utilities.
- Coordinate areas in the department (Design Hardware & Software, Fabrication and Electrical Installation, Robotics, Technology, OLP, and simulation) and communication with other areas of the company for the quality and reliability.
- Technical support for Department of Electrical Calculation projects and ECR quote by the sales area.
- Receive offers from suppliers to satisfy technical deficiencies and personnel limitations.
- Carry tender out to suppliers to cover technical and personnel shortages.
- Make use of ASTRAS portal for tender out to suppliers, PM TOOL portal for project status report, and SAP for control of projects.
- Visit clients to support activities, sales for new projects & issues.
- Releasing of the draft protocols electrical part of customer acceptance.
- Requires 10% international travel.
- Hybrid work from home permitted 1 day bi-weekly.
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or other closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Project Manager, Controls Manager, Controls Designer, or closely related occupation where required experience gained.
Also requires at least one (1) year of experience in the following:
