Job description

Responsibilities

• Maintain an average gross margin over all projects of 12% or more.
• Manage up to 6 electrical contracts concurrently, keeping them organized and estimating future work.
• Acquire new work with a hit ratio of at least 10%.
• Ensure 100% of projects are profitable.
• Maintain 100% customer satisfaction.
• Build and strengthen existing and new relationships to acquire new profitable work.
• Drive prefabrication collaboration with the field.
• Obtain LEED AP accreditation within 6 months.
• Continuously pursue education in related fields.
• Assist in training new foremen and help existing foremen achieve labor savings ideas.
• Provide a signature of non-compete if required.
• Assist in acquiring senior supervision at quality level from past work relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

• More than 5 years of experience with a strong commercial and industrial electrical background.
• Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing sophisticated test equipment (DMM, Megger, PQM, UCT, IR camera, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Experience preparing subcontract documents and obtaining all required permits.
• Experience preparing and maintaining project schedules.
• Experience preparing and buying out purchase orders.
• Experience preparing and reviewing submittals and shop drawings.
• Experience preparing project budgets and schedules of values.
• Experience reviewing files according to policies and procedures.
• Experience reviewing contract drawings and addressing RFIs in a timely manner.
• Experience preparing operation and maintenance manuals.
• Experience reviewing and submitting as-built drawings.
• Experience preparing warranty documents.
• Experience tracking punch lists and ensuring items are completed.
• Experience ensuring spares are turned over and signed received.

Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year
