Job summary

ABEC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Bethlehem, PA team for a full-time onsite role. You will lead electrical scope on active projects, collaborate with project engineering, manufacturing, and field teams, and support startup, troubleshooting, and customer needs, seeing your work in action.

You will design electrical hardware and systems, develop control panels, schematics, and documentation, and drive continuous improvement while travel is required to support ABEC’s customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• 3 years’ experience in electrical power systems preferred.
• Experience with PLC hardware and control loop drawings.
• Familiar with NEC NFPA 70 and UL508 standards.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Engineering projects and interface with customers.
• Define scope of electrical and instrumentation work.
• Develop control panel layouts, schematics, BOMs.
• Support commissioning, startup, and field service.
• Travel as required and drive CI opportunities.
