Job summary

Loenbro in Aurora, CO seeks an Electrical Project Estimator to lead cost estimation for mission-critical electrical projects. The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of electrical estimating experience and focuses on Design Build/Design Assist for water treatment projects.

You will collaborate with project managers and engineers, review specifications and drawings, and prepare detailed budgets and competitive bids.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to thoroughly understand the technical requirements of mission-critical/data center projects.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to identify key project elements.
• Utilize industry-standard estimating software and methodologies to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
• Analyze project components, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, to develop comprehensive project budgets.
• Prepare and submit competitive and well-organized bids in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to obtain accurate and up-to-date pricing for materials and subcontractor services.
• Evaluate potential risks associated with project execution and incorporate risk mitigation strategies into cost estimates.
• Provide insights into alternative solutions or cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure alignment between estimated costs and project budgets.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and operations, to gather insights that enhance the accuracy of estimates.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of electrical estimating expertise and will play a crucial role in assessing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and contributing to the successful execution of electrical installations. Candidates with industrial electrical estimating experience in Design Build/Design Assist for Water Treatment would be top choice.

Project Assessment

Essential Job Responsibilities
