Job summary

MOR PPM Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in Society Hill, SC. The Project Engineer assists the Project Management Team in meeting the Company’s objectives and goals, which include ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within a budget and per contract specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; internships or co-ops acceptable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability in utilizing a wide range of computer software.
• Engineer-in-training certification, Journeyman license and field experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal communication and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, first class customer service.
• Assist with the execution and management of the terms of projects contracts.
• Prepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reports.
• Maintain regular communication and collaboration with the project team including Project Foreman, Project Manager, General Contractor, Architect/Engineer and other subcontractors.
• Generate, maintain and facilitate project documentation throughout all phases; include RFI, submittals, drawings, specs, purchase orders, material orders, change orders, close-out docs.
• Perform material take-offs from drawings to help generate estimates and changes.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, efficiency and integrity in all aspects of the work.
• Maintain flexibility with assigned work environment and project locations; may commute to various jobsite locations.
• Attend and conduct meetings as required.
• Comply with all company policies and safety programs; perform other duties as assigned.
