Job summary

Helix Electric is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager on heavy commercial electrical construction projects in Las Vegas. The PE will help define objectives, plan, execute, and finalize projects on time and within budget, serving as the liaison between field and office.

Responsibilities include supporting scheduling, procurement, and contractual requirements, improving processes, and guiding team members to achieve profitable project outcomes while maintaining high-quality

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of project engineer experience in heavy commercial/private electrical construction.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering concepts relevant to project delivery.
Excellent communication and leadership skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Assist Project Manager with project planning, execution and finalization within schedule and budget.
Coordinate with field and office to meet customer expectations and contractual requirements.
Develop project management techniques, schedules, procurements and personnel assignments.
Oversee schedule adherence, change orders, and cost forecasting.
Mentor and develop team members and ensure quality control across projects.
