Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support large-scale industrial construction projects on site, ensuring safety, quality, budget adherence and schedule compliance from start to finish. You will lead project controls, procurements, submittals and vendor coordination while collaborating with design and field teams.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management and 2+ years of construction project experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a construction Project Engineer.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities, including planning procurement, design review, project controls, work assignments.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
• Prepare documents to obtain quotes from vendors for material, equipment, and other items.
• Track material deliveries.
• Interface with departments on budgeting, staffing and scheduling.
• Review engineering plans and vendor submittals.
• Monitor crew assignments to meet productivity goals.
• Conduct field walks and spot checks of work being performed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA policies and regulations.
