Job summary

Confidential in Longview, Washington is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer specialized in capital projects for power delivery. You will lead design and execution of 15kV/480V distribution, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and SCADA systems across industrial facilities.

Responsibilities include managing projects from concept through commissioning, coordinating with automation teams on PLCs, VFDs, UPS and DC systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 10–15 years of industrial electrical engineering/capital project experience.
• Strong medium-voltage power distribution experience.
• Experience managing projects from concept through commissioning.
• Knowledge of transformers, switchgear, motors, MCCs, PLCs, VFDs, UPS and DC systems.
• Familiarity with Arc Flash, relay coordination, short circuit and load flow studies.
• NEC, NFPA and OSHA knowledge.
• Experience with EasyPower, RSLogix, Studio 5000, Drive Composer or similar software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including automation and instrumentation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards are met.
