Job summary

Apex Technology in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a licensed Electrical Project Engineer to lead technical delivery on high-impact residential and light commercial projects. You will mentor the engineering team, own project delivery, and coordinate with clients and production from day one.

Responsibilities include preparing drawings and calculations, shaping scopes of work and pricing, and ensuring quality control across construction documents. This is an on-site role in Jacksonville, FL.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical PE required for project leadership.
• Experience delivering residential and light commercial electrical projects.
• Ability to mentor engineers and designers on technical delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact across teams.
• Own project delivery, manage teams, meet deadlines, and drive profitability.
• Shape scope of work and pricing for projects; review drawings and calculations.
• Onboard new clients, define workflows and schedules from day one.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, and construction documents.
• Provide QC and technical accuracy across documents.
• Respond to RFIs and submittals during construction.
• Mentor and develop Engineers and Designers on the team.

What You'll Do

• Own project delivery — manage teams, meet deadlines, solve problems, and drive account profitability
• Shape Scope of Work and pricing for new and existing projects
• Guide onboarding for new clients and projects, defining workflows and schedules from day one
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, and construction documents
• Provide quality control and technical accuracy across construction documents
• Serve as technical consultant to clients and respond to RFIs and submittals during construction
