Job summary

gpac is seeking an Assistant Electrical Project Manager for the Greater Charlotte, NC area to support industrial and select commercial electrical projects. The role involves coordinating with Project Managers, field leadership, customers and vendors to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in electrical construction, be hands-on and organized, and demonstrate strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical construction or related roles.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day management of electrical construction projects from award through completion.
• Support planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement and overall project coordination.
• Review plans, specs, scopes of work to identify issues and opportunities.
• Assist with material procurement, vendor coordination, and tracking of deliveries.
