Job summary

Dubak Electrical is seeking an Electrical Prefab Technician for our LaGrange Park, IL manufacturing plant. You will work in the Prefab Shop fabricating electrical components such as transformer skids, panelboards, fixtures, and power/routing assemblies with a focus on quality and safety.

This role requires mechanical aptitude, reliability, and the ability to meet deadlines. Candidates should be comfortable using hand tools, reading tape measures, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with basic hand tools and ability to read tape measures.
• Punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wire splicing and connections.
• Assemble power outlets, boxes, and stub-up components.
• Prepare power, lighting, and equipment whips.
• Modify and prepare light fixtures.
• Prefabricate panelboards.
• Simple conduit bending and assembly.
• Pipe threading.
