Job summary

CEEUS Inc. is seeking a Rubber Goods Tech I in the West Columbia, SC area to inspect, clean, test, and document insulated rubber PPE used in electrical work.

The role ensures PPE meets safety and customer requirements before returning to service, following ASTM standards and maintaining detailed records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to follow procedures, with physical stamina for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and repetitive tasks in a test lab and warehouse

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and able to recognize PPE defects.
• Ability to follow ASTM standards and testing procedures.
• Strong recordkeeping and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, and prepare insulated rubber PPE for testing.
• Perform high-voltage dielectric testing per procedures and standards.
• Identify damaged or noncompliant equipment and document accordingly.
• Record testing results and maintain documentation for customer reporting and traceability.
• Label and package passing equipment for return to customer.
• Operate testing equipment and perform routine checks and care.
• Follow customer-specific testing, labeling, and identification requirements.
• Communicate testing concerns and recurring quality issues to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Test Lab environment.
• Assist with receiving, staging, data entry, tagging, and other Test Lab activities.
