Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) seeks innovative engineers to join our team and influence power system design and project execution. The role involves designing switchboards, switchgear, and MCCs, while collaborating with management, sales, and operations to deliver quality solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of electrical engineering experience, an AAS or BE in Electrical Engineering, and strong technical writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing electrical systems.
• AAS or BE in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of power control systems (switchboard, switchgear) and motor control centers.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs and drawings for power system equipment (switchboards, switchgear, MCCs, LV/MV switchgear).
• Liaise with shop supervisors and operations manager to oversee equipment construction.
• Specify parts and coordinate procurement with purchasing on long-lead items.
• Participate in IPS UCE tier meeting process and contribute to standard work instructions and data sheets.
• Assist HSE with safety issues and use CIPS tools and processes.
• Familiar with CAD drafting (Computer Aided Design).
