Job summary

Whitney Services in Michigan and Florida is seeking an Electrician who can also perform plumbing. Join our service department and work with a family-focused team that values communication, dedication, and problem solving. Pays hourly with opportunities for commissions and bonuses.

Responsibilities include safety, customer service, installing and servicing electrical and plumbing systems, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of plumbing experience.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to travel.
• Comfortable using technology in the field, text messaging and phone apps.
• Must have own set of hand tools.
• Journeyman License is a plus – but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Provide excellent customer service while upgrading and selling the right products and services
• Install, repair, service new and existing systems and other related service calls
• Troubleshoot and solve customers’ various electrical and plumbing needs from basic fixtures to panel replacement and hot water heater installation
• Accurate and timely with invoices, time cards and system notes
