Job summary

Pieper Automation is seeking a Panel Technician in Wisconsin to assemble, wire, and troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic control panels per customer specifications. You will interpret blueprints, route wires, mount components, and ensure clean layouts while managing multiple projects.

The role includes on-site installation support, collaboration with customers and internal teams, and a strong emphasis on safety and quality. A High School Diploma and 3–5 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related experience or training.
• Strong safety attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read simple instructions and diagrams.
• Ability to compute basic math and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Panel Assembly & Fabrication: Build and assemble electrical and pneumatic control panels based on customer specs; interpret wiring diagrams and panel layouts.
• Technical Knowledge & Process Execution: Apply understanding of electrical circuits, panel design, and component functions; ensure consistency in repeat projects; troubleshoot systems.
• Project Management, Team/Customer Collaboration & Support: Work independently or in teams on multiple projects; coordinate with internal teams and customers; provide on-site support for installation, testing, and issue resolution.
• Safety/Hazard Recognition & Elimination: Pre-plan hazard elimination; promote safety and zero-accident goals; communicate safety concerns between field and office.
• Qualifications and Requirements: High School Diploma and 3–5 years related experience.
