Job summary

The Vincit Group is seeking an Electrical Technician to apply electrical and mechanical principles to build and install panels and control systems. He or she will trouble shoot during fabrication, commissioning, and startup, and perform initial testing on new equipment before it ships to customers.

The candidate should read blueprints, use electrical test equipment, and maintain safety and accuracy while collaborating with manufacturing teams across North and South America.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in electrical/electronic fields required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Willingness to travel 2–3% annually.

Responsibilities

• Build and install trough, conduit, and control panels per design specs.
• Troubleshoot control systems during fabrication, commissioning, and startup.
• Perform initial testing on newly designed equipment before shipment.
• Read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Maintain safety and quality during assembly and testing.
