Job summary

Sensata Technologies, in partnership with Dynapower, is seeking a Panel Assembler to build rectifier starter/control panels. You’ll mount PCBs and wiring to a panel for power conversion equipment, with a $2000 signing bonus and benefits on day one. Full-time, on-site role in Vermont.

We welcome novices and experienced assemblers alike; your day includes wiring, labeling, quality checks, and safety-first practices in a manufacturing setting. Flexible hours optional.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Electrical assembly experience required.
  • Experience with engineering prints and wiring diagrams preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Mount and secure components on the sub panel.
  • Complete control wiring according to electrical schematics and prints.
  • Install labels on the panel using the correct style and size.
  • Ensure final product quality and complete inspection sheets.
  • Use tools such as wire crimpers, strippers, cordless drills, screwdrivers, and torque wrenches.

Job description

Join Dynapower, a Sensata Technologies company, as a Panel Assembler and build the rectifier starter/control panels needed to operate our power conversion equipment. You'll mount the printed circuit boards from our Electronics Lab on a panel with other components and add all the required wiring until it's ready to be installed in a unit. You may be a novice at electrical assembly or you already have lots of experience (we’re hiring for all levels), but either way you're excited to help us power a cleaner planet. You'll make $20 to $30 per hour, get a $2000 signing bonus, AND be eligible for all your benefits on your first day!

What You'll Be Doing
  • On an average day, you’ll Mount and secure components on the sub panel.
  • Complete control wiring according to electrical schematics and engineering prints.
  • Install labels on the panel using the correct style and size.
  • Ensure quality of the final product and completion of all inspection and quality sheets before the product leaves the area.
  • Use various tools such as wire crimpers, strippers, cordless drills, screwdrivers, and (torque) wrenches.
  • Put safety first, all day every day.

The pay range for this role is $20 to $30 per hour. Your final compensation will depend on your level of experience in similar roles. In addition to these competitive wages, you’ll also get to enjoy numerous benefits starting on your first day, such as:

Flexible Hours Work Environment This is a full-time, non-exempt position scheduled from Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We have flexible hours so you can start anytime between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. - an 8-hour shift plus 30 min. lunchbreak will have you finish your day between 2.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m.

This position works in a manufacturing production environment.

This role routinely uses standard personal protective equipment such as required Safety Glasses and Safety shoes, as well as head and hearing protection and gloves, as required.
