• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role on MEP-intensive projects.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems: power distribution, UPS, generators.
• Strong understanding of commissioning processes and client handover requirements.
• Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and work under pressure.
• Familiar with industry standards, local electrical codes, and health & safety regulations.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

As the Electrical Package Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing the electrical scope of a large-scale data centre build. You will coordinate all electrical packages, liaise with subcontractors and stakeholders, and ensure that project milestones are met in line with safety, quality, and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage the electrical scope on large-scale data centre projects from concept through to commissioning and handover.
• Oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring quality assurance, program adherence, and safety compliance.
• Interface with design teams, consultants, and client representatives to resolve design and installation issues.
• Coordinate with other trades (mechanical, civil, architectural) to ensure smooth integration across disciplines.
• Maintain and update project documentation, including progress reports, RFI logs, and commissioning plans.
• Monitor procurement schedules and material deliveries to meet program demands.
• Drive health & safety culture across all electrical works on-site.
• Participate in regular project reviews and report to the Project Manager or Construction Director.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing electrical works on data centre projects or similarly complex environments (e.g., pharma, tech, industrial).
• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent trade background).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role on MEP-intensive projects.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems: power distribution, UPS, generators, fire alarms, lighting, BMS integration.
• Strong understanding of commissioning processes and client handover requirements.
• Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with industry standards, local electrical codes, and health & safety regulations.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
