Job summary

Kimberly-Clark's Warren, Ohio plant seeks a Multicraft Partner to inspect, repair, and fine-tune high‑speed, technologically advanced machines. You will troubleshoot electrical systems and implement maintenance practices in a facility producing products used by millions daily.

  • Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Have basic computer knowledge.
  • Work schedule: 12‑hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime.
  • Can pass pre‑employment screening and background checks.
  • Ability to learn and use mill computer systems such as SAP, MES, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Safety is the first priority; operate heavy equipment and rigging safely.
  • Troubleshoot asset operating equipment to maintain uptime and reduce failures.
  • Support preventative maintenance and autonomous care to drive improvement.
  • Build capability within Multicraft area and participate in self‑directed teams.
  • Document daily performance metrics in written and verbal formats.
  • Uphold standards through daily accountability and continuous improvement.

The role of our Multicraft Partner includes the following:

  • Safety is our first priority. We require all partners to work in a safe manner to consistently identify and correct unsafe acts and conditions. At times, this will include operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes and using rigging.

  • Utilize problem solving and decision‑making skills to maintain and troubleshoot asset operating equipment in order to ensure machine uptime and elimination of failures.

  • Drive continuous improvement through the support of preventative maintenance, grade changes and autonomous care.

  • Build capability in yourself and others in your area of Multicraft expertise.

  • Actively participant in a self‑directed work team system which includes at times providing meaningful feedback to build participation and engagement with team members.

  • The ability to document, account for and complete daily performance metrics in both verbal and written formats.

  • Values and supports a rigorous adherence to standards through daily accountability and continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.

  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.

  • Have basic computer knowledge.

  • Work schedule: Ability to work schedule of 12‑hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and during startup or abnormal operating conditions as business needs require.

  • Can pass a pre‑employment assessment and a pre‑employment drug + background screening.

  • Can pass post‑offer / pre‑hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).

  • Safety Mindset: Demonstrated prior experience with a focus on working safely and hazard recognition.

  • Ability to learn and regularly utilize mill computer systems such as: Production MRP System (SAP), Manufacturing Execution Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Outlook.

  • Warren Facility is a High‑Performance Work Team Culture. You must have the ability, drive and desire to work in a team environment.

  • The ideal candidate must have one of the following:

    • Minimum 2-year related technical degree in related manufacturing field, or 5+ relevant years of experience with high‑speed manufacturing or industrial mechanical and electrical fields.

  • Consistent and prolonged work history with demonstrated longevity and ability to succeed in work assignments.

  • Can physically work on elevated work platforms, catwalks, scaffolding, and enter confined spaces.

Preferred Technical Experience:
  • Experience with registration Control Systems

  • Linear Feedback Control Systems

  • Servo Motors and Controllers

  • Industrial/Manufactur
