Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking motivated Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for our High Street facility on the Weekend Night Shift. Youll keep our automated conveyor lines and high-speed packaging equipment running, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical).
• Valid driver s license with clean record.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems or warehouse tech; skilled in sensors, relays, VFDs, and panels.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work height up to 30 ft.
• Experience in food manufacturing/packaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipment.
• Work with PLCs, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensor-based automation.
• Install, wire, and maintain electrical components like relays, motors, and panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Install conduit, EMT, and sealtite to support upgrades and expansions.

We’re looking for motivated Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to bring their skills to our High street facility in Hanover, PA. In this hands-on, full-time Weekend Night Shift role, you’ll keep our automated conveyor lines and high-speed packaging equipment running at their best. You’ll take on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance — making a real impact every shift. Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing advanced conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipment
• Working with PLC systems, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensor-based automation
• Installing, wiring, and maintaining electrical components like relays, motors, and panels
• Performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep things running smoothly
• Reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams with accuracy
• Installing conduit, EMT, and sealtite independently to support system upgrades and expansions

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical)
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• Experience working with automated conveyor systems or warehouse distribution technologySkilled in diagnosing issues with sensors, relays, VFDs, and control panels
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working at heights up to 30 feet
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail
• Experience in food manufacturing or packaging is a plus
