GE Vernova Inc. is seeking an Assembler I for the afternoon shift to perform mechanical and electrical assembly of products and subassemblies. You will build wire harnesses, read schematics, and support inventory and shipping activities in a safety-conscious environment.

The role emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and teamwork to support production goals. Shift is 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM on site in Canada’s Northwest Territories.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing/production experience.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and assembly procedures.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and quality commitment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of products and subassemblies.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and production documentation.
• Assemble, route, crimp, tie, and install wire harnesses and cables.
• Wire electrical control panels and subassemblies using schematics.
• Identify and correct wiring/assembly issues.
• Support inventory and shipping activities.
• Maintain safe, organized workstations and follow EHS requirements.
