Job summary

Gorbel is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Assembler in the United States to build control panels from standard components and custom job drawings. This role requires following job instructions, testing electrified components, and coordinating with engineering or technicians as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, the ability to read blueprints and tape measures, basic Windows software skills, and strong communication with supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to pass truck and crane certification with training upon hire.
• Computer knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other computer programs.
• Ability to read tape measure
• Ability to read a blue print
• Ability to use hand tools requiring dexterity
• Must be able to communicate effectively with factory supervision

• Build or assemble non-electrified and electrified components by following the specified directions from the job paperwork
• Required to test and initial electrified components for function
• Submit requests for replacement tooling or supplies
• Debug and trouble shoot electrical problems
• Complete inventory cycle counts as needed
• Ensure all documents are filled out completely
• All other duties as assigned by management

Job Description

The Electrical Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly of control panels. Assembler utilizes stock electrical and mechanical components to build custom panels per job instructions. Works with little or no supervision. Interaction with Technicians or Engineering Department may be required depending on complexity of the design.
