• 2+ years of directly related electrical systems and equipment experience, plus general O&M with building systems.
• Current Colorado Journeyman Electrical License (or higher).

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment using Windows-based work order system for tasking.
• Perform circuit component repair and/or replacement.
• Troubleshoot system circuitry problems.
• Perform infrared scanning of circuitry panels and switch gear for overheating and anomalies.
• Conduct routine rounds of mechanical and electrical rooms and manage UPS systems.
• Respond to performance-related anomalies on facility systems.

Job description

Position Introduction/Key Duties

Cimarron is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.

Key Duties

• Work in a team environment using Windows-based work order system for tasking.
• Perform circuit component repair and/or replacement.
• Troubleshoot system circuitry problems.
• Perform infrared scanning of circuitry panels and switch gear for overheating at connections and for other anomalies.
• Perform other maintenance duties such as routine rounds to all mechanical and electrical rooms, operating and understanding the uninterruptible power system (UPS - Eaton mfg.).
• Respond to any, and all, performance related anomalies on facility systems.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• 2 or more years of directly related experience involving electrical systems and equipment and general O&M experience with other building systems.
• Current Colorado Journeyman Electrical License (or higher).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
