Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence in Indiana seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance team. You will diagnose electrical problems, maintain and repair instrumentation, and lead small-scale projects to improve reliability.

The role requires an Associate degree in Electrical Power Technology, 8+ years in industrial electrical work, preferably in Oil & Gas, and proficiency with CMMS (SAP) and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Power Technology.
• 8+ years as Industrial Electrician or related electrical experience troubleshooting equipment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry.
• Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrohydraulic, and mechanical drive systems at component level.
• Must qualify for arc flash and fall protection.
• Safety as a core value.
• Proficient in CMMS, preferably SAP.
• MS Office (Excel, Word) with MS 365.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical problems, malfunctions and take corrective action.

• Perform other duties to improve facility and equipment reliability.
• Perform inspections of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

INTECH Process Automation is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing electrical problems, malfunctions and taking corrective action.
• Maintaining and repairing facility instrumentation.
• Developing wiring diagrams, as necessary.
• Using precision instrumentation such as voltmeter, ammeter, megger, wattmeter.
• Maintaining, repairing, testing, and calibrating instrumentation and equipment of various types including Gas pressure and temperature instruments, control instruments, loop controllers, PLC, and various other forms of electrical/electronic equipment.
• Completing record and inventory of supplies necessary to perform jobs.
• Maintaining personal work tools.
• Selected candidate is expected to initiate, lead, and design small-scale projects as directed.
• Perform other related miscellaneous duties as required to maintain or improve facility and equipment reliability.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system inspections following established procedures and/or other written or verbal instructions.

Requirements

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• Associate degree in Electrical Power Technology.
• 8+ years as an Industrial Electrician or related electrical experience troubleshooting equipment in an electrical support role.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic pneumatic, hydraulic, Electrohydraulic, and mechanical drive systems at the component level on all assigned equipment.
• Must qualify for and utilize specialized personal protective equipment as required for the position including arc flash and fall protection.
• Must regard safety as a core value.
• Proficient in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably SAP.
• Experience with MS Office suite (Excel, Word) with MS 365 package.
• Proficiency in English Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including clear communication, teamwork, respect for colleagues, and ability to collaborate effectively and work under pressure.
