Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to uphold the reliability, safety, and performance of our facility's electrical systems. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot, and support commissioning, while maintaining documentation in iEMS.

Responsibilities include driving corrective actions, keeping accurate work orders, and ensuring safety with LOTO procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience on industrial electrical systems (LV/MV power distribution, controls, or facilities maintenance).
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals, schematics, and troubleshooting methods.
• Hands-on ability to diagnose and repair electrical equipment (switchgear, VFDs, UPS, motors, relays).
• Safety competency with LOTO and NFPA 70E or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree, apprenticeship or electrical license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/TBM) on all electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and restore electrical equipment and power distribution systems.
• Own reliability for assigned systems/areas and drive corrective actions.
• Support commissioning, energization, and system validation activities.
• Maintain accurate work orders, asset data, and documentation in iEMS.
• Perform all work in compliance with safety procedures (LOTO / EEW).
• Support critical spare parts identification and inventory readiness.
