Job summary

Spectrum Brands' Pet Care division seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment and facilities in peak condition. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support equipment installations and repairs in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field, strong documentation habits, and be proficient with CMMS (MVP Plant).

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology or related field or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
• Experience with preventive maintenance and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment
• Inspect equipment, read schematics, and identify malfunctions
• Document maintenance activities and update CMMS (MVP Plant)
• Safely operate forklifts and MEWPs as required
• Follow LOTO and OSHA safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement
