Job summary

Barrick, a leading gold mining company, invites qualified electricians to join our Nevada Gold Mines site. You will perform electrical repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance across the processing plant, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires interpreting schematics and control data, and proficient use of Ellipse for work orders and parts management. A rotating days schedule is an essential function of this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical repair, installation, inspection and preventive maintenance in an industrial plant.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, blueprints and related instrumentation data sheets.
• Knowledge of NEC and high voltage equipment up to 15 kV; basic conduit and layout skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs and maintenance across plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations, Barrick policies.
• Create and review work orders in Ellipse; manage equipment history and parts procurement.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems and field instruments; operate PLCs and DCS components.
• Demonstrate knowledge of VFDs, motors, instrumentation, and process control loops.
