Job summary

MITER Brands (MI Windows and Doors, Milgard, and PGT Innovations) is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Tech to join our Venice, Florida team. The role requires a strong mechanical and electrical background, with experience in a manufacturing plant and a readiness to advance.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate with overtime and solid benefits. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, knowledge of industrial electricity, and PLC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical or Trade school degree preferred, or a combination of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of industrial electricity.
• Working knowledge of energy sources for utility equipment (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic). PLC experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain plant utilities and work independently when directed.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work safely following company policies.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in assigned area under guidance.
• Maintain open communication with maintenance team and supervisor.
• Document work orders completely and accurately.
• Complete Proteus and other documentation as required.
• Perform tasks under close supervision and assist outside contractors on projects.
