Job summary

Orion Steel Group, L.L.C. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical to lead maintenance operations in a heavy industrial steel facility.

You will manage electrical systems, power distribution, automation, and reliability while directing a team of electricians and multi-craft technicians. The role partners with Production, Engineering, Reliability, and Safety to maximize uptime, reduce downtime, and improve equipment performance in a 24/7 setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in heavy industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety standards, and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage outages and coordinate outages.
• Experience with rolling mills, furnaces, conveyors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for maintenance safety programs ensuring OSHA/NFPA 70E/LOTO compliance and training.
• Oversee electrical systems troubleshooting, upgrades, installations, and modernization projects across plant.
• Support planned electrical outages and coordinate resources during outages.
• Lead and mentor a team of electricians and multi-craft technicians for reliability improvements.
• Drive reliability-centered maintenance, RCFA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize labor, resources, and contractor performance while using CMMS effectively.
