Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. in Aiken, SC is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead about 8 maintenance associates on a full-time day shift. You will supervise electrical work orders, schedule tasks, and work with the Plant Engineer to maximize equipment uptime.

The role requires strong electrical maintenance knowledge (PLCs, instrumentation) and TPM/Lean principles, plus excellent communication and leadership abilities. Weekend/on-call coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2+ years manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Electrical maintenance knowledge: power transmission, motor control, equipment control, PLCs, and process instrumentation.
• Ability to manage others in an inclusive manner.
• Good reading/writing, metric and standard measurements, and business math.
• Clear communication with all Shaw associates.
• Negotiate with vendors and oversee on-site contract workers.
• Knowledge of TPM and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong organizational and computer skills.
• Technical degree (2 or 4 years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish associate work schedules with Maintenance Planners and Operations.
• Mentor and provide technical support to develop maintenance personnel.
• Monitor and review equipment performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support proactive maintenance with Preventive and Predictive activities.
• Complete special projects from Plant Engineer.
• Coordinate and conduct required training.
• Ensure OSHA, NEC and other compliance for work and training.
• Available to work weekends, off shifts, and holidays if required.

The Maintenance Electrical Supervisor handles the day-to-day tasks associated with work orders for electrical and PDM associates.
