Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Manager to support a Pharmaceutical client in Rahway, NJ. You will oversee external electrical contractors, troubleshoot systems, coordinate repairs, and support site shutdowns.

In this leadership role, you’ll manage medium- to high-voltage systems, generators, substations, ATS and UPS, plus budgeting, safety programs, and client relationships. A PE or CEM is a plus; a Bachelor’s degree is required.

Oversee medium- to high-voltage systems, including generators, substations, ATS and UPS. Manage parts, inspections, drawings, scheduling and coordination with in-house electricians. NJ Electrician license preferred without a B.S in Electrical Engineering.

In this operational leadership role, you’ll oversee and optimize facilities and engineering services to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant performance across all systems and teams. You’ll manage everything from mechanical systems and maintenance workflows to budgeting, safety programs, and client relationships, all while developing staff and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team.

Pay Range

$103445 per year - $133870 per year

What you’ll bring

Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical operations, maintenance, or a related field.

Relevant certifications such as a Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification a plus.
