Job summary

Mylan Technologies, Inc. in Vermont is seeking a Master Electrician to oversee electrical maintenance, repair, and installation across plant operations.

The role requires coordination with Production for downtime, ensuring availability of tooling and parts, and supervising related contractors. The ideal candidate holds a Vermont Master Electrician license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Must possess a Vermont State Master Electrician License.
• Must possess applicable knowledge of electrical testing equipment, e.g. ammeters, voltmeter, conduit-bending equipment, power hand tools and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating electrical/electronic maintenance, repair and installation. Coordinate downtime for maintenance with Production personnel.
• Ensure tooling and materials are available for installations or repairs; prepare material requisitions for new installations and repairs.
• Review requested machine modifications and coordinate with contractors to specify electrical work and integration with existing equipment.
• Ensure machinery and work areas are cleaned after maintenance.
• Utilize PCs, PLCs and CAD system; train new Electrical Maintenance personnel as required.
