We seek an Electrical Maintenance Engineer I – Formulation and Packaging to ensure reliable electrical, control, and instrumentation systems in our chemical manufacturing areas.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field by Aug 2027.
• 0–2 years’ engineering experience in industrial or chemical setting.
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to create technical docs.
• Commitment to working safely and supporting a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and exceed Bayer electrical norms and safety guidelines.
• Support improvement projects in safety, yield, capacity, reliability, and cost.
• Specify instruments, control devices, motors for plant use.
• Evaluate vendor instrumentation and electrical components.
• Prepare maintenance plans to restore equipment quickly.
• Collaborate with area engineers and technicians for performance.
