Job summary

General Motors is seeking an Electrical Journeyperson to support Engineering & Maintenance in our automotive manufacturing facilities. You will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems on production and facility equipment, including robotics, PLC-controlled machinery and EV-related systems.

You will read and interpret electrical schematics, ensure compliance with safety standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep operations running smoothly

Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in maintaining electrical and electronic manufacturing equipment.
• Familiar with safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical/electronic systems on production equipment.
