Job summary

General Motors is seeking an Electrical Journeyperson to support Engineering & Maintenance in our automotive manufacturing facilities. You will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems on production and facility equipment, including robotics, PLC-controlled machinery and EV-related systems.

You will perform preventative maintenance, read and interpret electrical schematics, ensure compliance with safety standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Able to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical/electronic systems on production/facility equipment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Experience with robotics, PLC-controlled machinery and EV-related systems is preferred.
• Committed to safety standards and proactive maintenance practices.
