Job summary

Amteck is seeking electricians for our Chester, VA projects. We offer long-term opportunities, benefits and a 401K. After completion you can move to another project within Amteck.

We look for individuals who are interested in working with a company that promotes growth and longevity within the trade. Training for low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation among other skill sets is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites.
• Ability to install conduit, wire and cable systems as required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems.
• OSHA10 preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical installations on commercial/industrial sites.
• Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams to install systems.
• Install and terminate panels, switchboards and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits and equipment.
