Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Coursework in electrical power systems design, control systems, and building systems design.

• Familiarity with BIM modeling software such as Revit or AutoCAD.
• Internship experience at an engineering-related firm preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and work in a multidisciplinary team.

Your key duties

As an Electrical Intern, you will collaborate with other engineers to develop creative, energy‑efficient buildings that provide aesthetics to their physical surroundings and utility to their occupants. In return,we’llhelp you meet your goals, respect your ideas, and foster your creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

• Using Revit, prepare technical drawings, schedules, and reports
• Analyze load todeterminesystem sizing, and assign circuitry for power and lighting devices
• Undertake electrical engineering building services design and calculations (using software and knowledge to verify robust calculations such as Design Master and SKM)
• Embrace the latest technologies to improve performance and sustainability

Your Skills And Experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• Coursework in electrical power systems design, control systems, and/or building systems design
• Interest in the electrical engineering industry with an emphasis on the power side of the discipline
• Academic research, coursework, or other experience with alternative energy systems and other technologies new to the construction industry preferred
• Familiarity with BIM modeling software, such as Revit, AutoCAD
• Internship experience at engineering related firm preferred, and proven interest in the built environment
• Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible manner
• Eagerness to learnand work as part of a multidisciplinary team
