Job summary

Futamura USA seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join the Electrical Maintenance Department. This role installs, troubleshoots, calibrates, and programs industrial electrical and instrumentation systems to support manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has experience with PLCs, 480V systems, motor controls, VFDs, and process instrumentation. Rotating 12-hour shifts are required, with a $2.50 shift differential in a growing packaging films facility.

Qualifications

Experience with 480V electrical systems and industrial controls.
Experience reading electrical schematics, P&IDs, and diagrams.
Familiarity with PLCs, motors, drives, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, instrumentation, and automation systems.
Install and maintain PLCs, I/O, control panels, wiring, sensors, and switches.
Calibrate instrumentation and troubleshoot 3–15 psi pneumatic controls and 4–20 mA signals.
Perform preventive maintenance and document maintenance records.
Follow safety requirements and company policies.
