Job summary

Consumers Energy is seeking an Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Technician for a contract role onsite in Flint, MI. The position requires 5 days per week onsite, with some overtime and travel within the lower peninsula.

Qualifications

• Must be able to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, instrumentation and control systems.
• Demonstrated safe work practices in industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and document preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Update maintenance logs and documentation; maintain records.
• Support startup of new or modified systems and coordinate with engineers, operations, vendors and contractors.
