Job summary

LotusWorks in Rio Rancho, NM seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting the E&I team in facility systems maintenance and troubleshooting.

You will work under mentors, learn measurement, calibration, PM/CM tasks, and contribute to safety practices, documentation in Maximo, and plant improvement projects.

This internship is ideal for soon-to-be graduates to launch a career in engineering services with a focus on reliability and process instrumentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Technical certificate or associate degree preferred in Mechanical/HVAC/Industrial Maintenance.
• Familiarity with electrical/instrumentation maintenance is preferred.
• Safety training such as LOTO and confined-space awareness is required or provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the E&I team in safe operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of facility systems.
• Assist with PM/CM tasks on electrical panels, switchgear, VFDs, and instrumentation.
• Record readings and maintenance data in CMMS (Maximo) and ensure data accuracy.
• Shadow senior technicians to learn system operation and instrumentation architecture.
