Job summary

Danos seeks an I&E Maintenance Helper to support experienced Maintenance Technicians at oil and gas well pads in Texas. You will assist with electrical, instrumentation, pneumatic, and safety systems, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing under supervision.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical or electrical knowledge, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to learn. Weekend work and on-call rotation may be required; a valid driver's license is needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in oil and gas production, electrical work, instrumentation, or industrial maintenance required.
• Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge and willingness to learn electrical, instrumentation, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with oil and gas production equipment, including tanks, valves, pumps, and control systems, is a plus.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and learn to operate electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely under supervision.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Must be available to work weekends and participate in an on-call schedule.
• Must live within 70 miles of Jourdanton, TX.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical wiring and control systems.
• Support maintenance of motors, switchgear, and tank-gauging systems.
• Help identify equipment malfunctions and perform basic troubleshooting using diagnostic tools.
• Read and interpret basic electrical schematics and pneumatic diagrams.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow established safety procedures.
