Qualifications

• Must have an active certification or licensure.
• At least 5 years industry experience within the last 10 years.
• Prior teaching experience or completion of new instructor training is required before teaching.
• Ability to qualify as an instructor per standards.
• Preferred: prior teaching in proprietary education setting.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize classroom and lab instruction to engage students.
• Guarantee materials meet learning objectives for each course.
• Ensure instructional materials and equipment are ready and in working order.
• Participate in faculty assessment and professional development.
• Meet academic and administrative deadlines via data analysis and reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
