Job summary

Strada Services in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a Residential Electrician – New Construction to install electrical systems in new homes in compliance with NEC and local codes. You will read blueprints, install wiring and conduits, connect to power, and test systems for safety.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year in residential new construction, own tools, and a valid driver's license. A licensed electrician and apprenticeship are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of residential new construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and use diagnostic tools.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Must have own tools and a valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• Preferred: Electrician license and completion of a formal apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring, electrical systems, and fixtures in new homes.
• Connect systems to power lines and install conduits and circuit breakers.
• Read blueprints and reference technical drawings.
• Inspect and test systems for safety and accuracy.
• Replace wiring or breakers as needed and perform related duties.

What You’ll Do

As a Residential Electrician – New Construction, you’ll be responsible for installing electrical systems in new residential developments according to NEC and local codes. Your duties will include:

• Installing and repairing wiring, electrical systems, and fixtures
• Connecting systems to power lines
• Installing conduits, circuit breakers, and other components
• Reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Inspecting and testing systems for safety and accuracy
• Replacing wiring, conduit, or breakers as needed
• Performing other related duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Role

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be able to see color‑coded wiring
