Job summary
Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is seeking an Electrical Inspector to inspect electrical materials and equipment including wires, cables, and fiber optic components used by the Authority. The role requires knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, manufacturer testing, and factory inspection practices.
Responsibilities include reviewing test reports, performing factory inspections when required, witnessing manufacturing and testing activities, verifying compliance with wire and cable
Qualifications
- Experience inspecting wire, cable, and electrical equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
- Experience inspecting and testing wires and cables, including fiber optic cables.
- Ability to critically review wire and cable test reports from manufacturers.
- Associate's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- At least five years of relevant inspection experience.
- Experience performing factory inspections.
- Experience witnessing manufacture and testing of wire and cable.
Responsibilities
- Inspect wires, cables, fiber optic cables, and electrical equipment.
- Review and evaluate manufacturer test reports.
- Perform factory inspections when required.
- Witness manufacturing and testing activities. Verify compliance with Authority wire and cable standards.
