Job summary

AECOM has a need for an Electrical Inspector to support the US Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District at Fort Benning, GA. Provide oversight of the contractor to ensure compliance with contract requirements and standards, document field observations, and participate in technical reviews of submittals to ensure conformity to USACE standards.

The role requires knowledge of NEC, electrical theory, grounding, and safety; travel up to 50% on site; US citizenship and background/drug screening;

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings and specifications.
• Solid understanding of electrical theory, grounding and bonding, and NEC requirements.
• Strong safety mindset with experience in field inspections and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of the contractor to ensure compliance with contract requirements and standards.
• Document compliance to construction standards and specifications.
• Complete and maintain records of field observations, including daily reports and measurements.
• Participate in technical review of submittals and development plans to ensure conformity to USACE standards.
• Attend and participate in construction progress meetings and prepare punch lists as needed.
