Job summary

Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is seeking an Electrical Inspector to inspect wires, cables, fiber optic cables, and related electrical equipment for public infrastructure projects. You will verify compliance with electrical codes and standards, review manufacturer test reports, and witness manufacturing and testing activities as needed.

Responsibilities include preparing inspection findings and documentation, performing factory inspections when required, and ensuring adherence to Authority wire

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting various types of wire, cable, and electrical equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
• Experience inspecting and testing wires and cables, including fiber optic cables.
• Ability to critically review wire and cable test reports from manufacturers.

Salary Range: $128,947.37 To $150,438.60 Annually

About the Role

The Electrical Inspector will inspect electrical materials and equipment, including wires, cables, fiber optic cables, and related components used by the Authority. This role requires knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, manufacturer testing, and factory inspection practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience inspecting various types of wire, cable, and electrical equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
• Experience inspecting and testing wires and cables, including fiber optic cables.
• Ability to critically review wire and cable test reports from manufacturers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant inspection experience.
• Experience performing factory inspections.
• Experience witnessing the manufacture and testing of wire and cable.
